Haaker and Webb Ready to Resume EnduroCross Battle in Everett – The Pacific Northwest host EnduroCross this weekend

Husqvarna’s Colton Haaker has taken four wins in five races so far in the 2016 AMA EnduroCross Championship. But KTM’s Cody Webb, the two time defending champion, has kept the championship chase close with one win and consistent podium finishes of his own. They will take the battle to the Pacific Northwest this weekend for round six inside the XFINITY Arena in Everett Washington, just a little north of Seattle.

The Everett event has always attracted a huge crowd and the track is known to be one of the most challenging on the circuit as the soft dirt and waterlogged logs add to the difficulty. Webb took the Everett win last year over Haaker in a race that came down to the last obstacle. Who will come out on top this year?

Mike Brown continues to put in amazing results on his factory backed Husqvarna. The Tennessee native has two podium finishes so far and currently holds down third in the points.

RPM KTM’s Ty Tremaine currently holds down forth position. The two time Junior EnduroCross Champion (A championship within a championship for riders 21 and under) is knocking on the door for his first ever podium finish.

Beta’s Max Gerston earned a podium finish at the most recent round in Denver and is currently fifth in the championship, just ahead of his Beta teammate Kyle Redmond. The two battled the whole race in Denver for that final podium spot.

Geoff Aaron has used consistent results on his GasGas to hold seventh in the title chase.

Noah Kepple, another young rider competing for the Junior Championship, holds eighth and is an exciting rider to keep your eyes on.

Canada’s Trystan Hart is yet another young rider eligible for that Junior EnduroCross Championship that is turning heads with top results and amazing speed. He currently sits in ninth despite missing the opening round.

Cory Graffunder, a veteran of the series who finished fourth last season is currently rounding out the top ten on his SRT backed KTM. The gnarlier the track the better Graffunder performs so Everett could be a good one for him.

And Taddy Blazusiak, the five time EnduroCross champion, is expected to be back in action after taking time off for a thumb injury. He out of the championship chase so will just be looking to take wins at all cost.

This weekend’s Everett, Washington event will be held inside the XFINITY Arena on Saturday, October 22nd. The Arena is open for free for the daytime practice and qualification sessions that start at 10:00 am. Then the Arena opens back up to the public at 6:00 pm with opening ceremonies at 7:30 pm.
