The 2016 AMA EnduroCross Championship will wrap up inside the Citizens Business Bank Arena this weekend in Ontario, California and RPM KTM’s Ty Tremaine is about to become a three time EnduroCross Junior Champion. The EnduroCross Junior Championship recognizes riders that are 21 and under and Tremaine holds a solid lead in that battle and is probalby more focused on trying to overtake Husqvarna’s Mike Brown for third in the overall championship.

Ninteen year old Trystan Hart has had a amazing season and is currently holding down eight overall and second in the Junior Championship. The Husqvarna rider has finished in the top ten in all six events he has competed in after missing the opening round in Atlanta.

Third in the Junior Championship and ninth overall is Noah Kepple. The Southern California rider opened eyes last season and has qualified for every main event in 2016 with a best finish of fifth. He is often one of the first riders to find the fastest lines throough or often jumping over tricky obstacles. So he is exciting to watch.

Noah Kepple did not cleanly make this attempt to jump the water hole in Everett but he is often to successfully complete difficult obstacles like that. He is currently third in the EnduroCross Junior Championship. Photo: Adam Booth
Past Junior Champions include Colton Haaker, Taylor Robert and Max Gerston so it is a good indicator of the future stars of the sport.
